Hey do you know why raw milk is good for them too as i know other owners give raw milk for nutrition as well? also have heard some are using clostridium for their dogs have you used that and do you have info on it as i know ladysmom recommends that as well |
There's lots of evidence to suggest that raw milk is superior to unpasteurized, however, it's so important to have a really safe source, and that's the part that gets tricky. Pasteurization kills many bad thing, it' also kills good things, so you have to decide which is more important. Think of raw vs. cooked meat. If I had a safe source of raw milk, and the cows were tested regularly and the strictness conditions were met in the handling and transporting of the milk, I go with raw. For me it's always, safety first. Haven't heard of clostridium.
