  Could be.  Medicine is constantly evolving. I was unaware that Leggs Perthes existed in humans also.  However, Fox New has a commentator that was born with this congential problem.  At the time he placed in painful braces to correct, now it is corrected with surgery....medicine a come a long way; in humans and animals.
