I do know that the wellness chicken super five is a bigger kibble than the small breed. I was also told that if you switch their main protien sorce you have to do it slowly.
The reason why I switched is bc the vet thought that Pixie was having problems with the grain. She pooped 5-6 times a day and if I did not give her green beans her poop was hard as a rock.
Daisy did fine on the wellness but it was easier to switch them both bc Pixie always steals Daisy's food. |
How are Pixie & Daisy liking the Surf & turf? When we had a sample of this, all three seemed to like it ok. Then when we bought the bag, they were really picky about eating it. So we exchanged it for the pork & applesauce. It's not grain free like the surf, but they really like it!
We are also doing Primal raw as well. Wrigley hates it, so she's just getting organic green beans. ( I think she's a vegetarian
)
We bought Primal chicken & I think Wrigley is allergic, she was chewing her paw and has now stopped.
Next time we are going to try a different formula of raw.
