I was actually there first technically when i called the night before and told them i was coming to get her just as soon as they were open and they called back in the morning and said she would be there and open at 2pm. i showed up at 2pm and they gave the dog to someone else....i think it's bull and i'm not changing my opinion.

as for feeling that this person wasn't the best home for the dog. i have my own reasons, but a person that works in a vet clinic, has their own home and has a yard fenced and has a yorkie already DOES make a better application for a good home than an apartment dweller with no previous dog owning experience and in MY experience rescue groups that are doing it for the dog's sake ALWAYS check references and make sure the BEST home wins out no matter what order the apps. come in.
