I just wanted to say after watching this go on all day long that people celebrate their dogs in different ways and normally when someone makes an unkind comment it is because of jealousy or insecurity! Normally those are the only 2 reasons people say stuff like that! And frankly if someone thinks putting a dress on a yorkie is over the top they would think I was stone cold certifiably insane because my best friend threw me a HUGE shower when I got Louis complete with linen napkins, floral arrangements, brunch and gifts! Why can't people just let other people express themselves and their life however it suits them if it's not hurting anybody else? I just think people are WAY too opinionated at times and if it's not someone's cup of tea that's fine but as was originally discussed when the OP brought it up there is no reason to make fun of or be snide about what someone else chooses to do! It's just not cool! And frankly, we are celebrating our dogs and why that wouldn't tickle someone to see in this day and age of full to the brim rescues and shelters, BYBs and puppymills is beyond me! It's one less dog in the world who is being mistreated! That should be worth encouraging and not grounds for a snide comment...JMO.
