I would NEVER tell someone their dog looks silly in anything, that's ridiculous. I take it from my friends because, well...they're my friends and I take it as just normal teasing...but it does bother me a little when it is something like a sweater in December when I know that if I were to not put a sweater on her, she would be in danger of freezing.

I don't get angry about it, I just brush it off, at least I know my baby is warm.

The dress thing.....well, personally I would feel a little silly putting a dress on a dog...but that's me. I think other dogs look absolutely ADORABLE in dresses, it's just not my cup of tea. Just brush it off...they don't live in your house or live with your dog, they are a meaningless person that passes by in your day.

Your is the important one!
I'm glad you said something first. I would *never* say something so mean to a person... as everyone has a choice and a preference. I, for one, was totally against dog clothes when I first got Jackson and well, they grew on me. However, he 99.9% of the time only wears them when it is really cold outside, all spring and summer and most of Fall, he is always neekkid. The other .1% is for holidays. Even if I had a girl, I just don't do the dress thing. I think the babies look adorable in them for pictures and stuff. The other day at the dog park, a woman with her little yorkie placed a hat on his head and a shirt as they exited the park (it was like 80 degrees), I'm gonna be totally upfront and honest and say I laughed to myself... BUT I would NEVER say something to anybody and I keep my thoughts to myself! It's her life and her dog and I don't really care what she does with him.
