Honestly, and no one hate me for saying this.....but I understand the general attitude of dresses looking "silly" on dogs.

Most people think they do.

I put sweaters and scarfs on my Poppy and I get comments from ALL of my friends like "Poor dog...." as if I'm torturing her, and I kindly let them know that she does not produce and under-coat and therefore gets cold and needs a sweater, just like we do when it gets cold.

I would NEVER tell someone their dog looks silly in anything, that's ridiculous. I take it from my friends because, well...they're my friends and I take it as just normal teasing...but it does bother me a little when it is something like a sweater in December when I know that if I were to not put a sweater on her, she would be in danger of freezing.

I don't get angry about it, I just brush it off, at least I know my baby is warm.

The dress thing.....well, personally I would feel a little silly putting a dress on a dog...but that's me. I think other dogs look absolutely ADORABLE in dresses, it's just not my cup of tea. Just brush it off...they don't live in your house or live with your dog, they are a meaningless person that passes by in your day.

Your is the important one!
