Thanks Yorkielover, thats pretty much what I have a pattern for! I picked up the pattern when I got Winston about a year ago since I figured with my sewing skills I could make a more plush one a little cheaper then the store ones. I just never get around to making it.

We have a dog bag I can hook over the seat, I figured it would have worked in the mean time... he said nooope! I don't like the non-rigid bottom of this, start over! We've been using a beach towel for now which "works" for the sliding, but he has too much fun fluffing the towel so he ends up sliding anyway when we turn.

I've started to think maybe purchasing one of the ones that sit on the seat might be less of a hassle then editing my pattern. Its so hard to really tell how high they are in photos though... which is why I was hoping for some input from the yorkie experts here .
