There are two sides to this, that's why the confusing. Some do like it for bugs. Scientific evidence supporting the claim that is works...I haven't seen it, but could've missed it.
A small amount on occasion shouldn't hurt a darn thing.
But a larger amount or a small amount overtime is cause for a bit of concern. I choose to avoid it because I think that's best.
