Tums are an antacid and will decrease the acid in the stomach, causing poor digestion. Also, this form of calcium (inorganic) can lead to problems such as kidney stones. Try researching calcium in a food form. Your local health food store can help you.

Daisy's ears were flopped over with creases. The groomer said it looked like the cartilage was broken down and that they may never go up. I massaged her ears gently each day to increase circulation and gave her liquid herbal calcium (for kids). On ear went up and I taped the other one for a couple days until it came up, too!

The best you can do is to provide the nutrition and see what happens. The body will decide where it is most needed.
