This is precisely the point that I no longer feel the need to hide my wise-guy persona and actually wish he had a few friends to join in to beat the pulp out of these morons. My alter ego then replies "Oh, but he IS a real dog that can do REAL tricks. As matter of fact he's doing his best one now...he's pretending he's really happy to see you when in fact, he's peeing on your shoe because it's his favorite place to do potty. You better stop petting him before he has to go number 2". I immediately turned and started walking away with Rocco (who really WAS peeing on her shoe because he was excited  ). I smiled all the way home!! |
I was at a pet store in the grooming section asking about clippers. An employee walks in and says I never knew we groomed rats!!!
Now I am not the shy type to not say anything at all about this!! So I just stared at him and of course he didn't look at me.
I didn't need cricket food which is his dept. but decided to get them today. He helped me and I told him, "does she look like a rat to you"!! He was shocked and responded well what is she.
Then I went and checked out and asked to speak to the manager. I told her my story and she said they'd deal with it.
I have never been back to that pet store again!
People are a**holes.
