i taught penny to give paw in about three days get a really strong smelling treat like chicken give her a few pieces to get her really into the treat then pinch it in your fingers so she can smell it but not eat it...she will try over and over to get it from you and eventually she will try to paw your fingers open as soon as sbhe raises her paw grab it with your other hand and give her command ie shake give paw whatever you choose do not give the command until she does it though or she wont know what action goes with the word ...they learn FAST
