The more things change, the more they stay the same. | It was scary, family and friends dying in a war that just would not end. Neighborhood friends going away to war and never coming back. Wearing "POW" and "MIA" bracelets all the time. However one of the highlights I remember was my mother and father taking me to Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco to witness the hippie phenomena and to buy "love-beads"(do not know if anyone remembers those)! From that point on, my fashion sense was completely changed! I recall my parents not being to happy about it either. |
