My boys will have clear eye goobers when they have hair stuck in their eyes. Examine your pup's eye in bright light to see if there is any hair or foreign matter. When I find hair, I either carefully pull the hair away without touching the eye, or I wash with a wet cotton ball and then dry to prevent yeast growth.
Never touch the eye. If something is floating around and irritating the eye, flush with sterile saline.
If the goobers persist, check in with your vet again. You can always call the office and ask for advice. |
