The first two are under regular light, the last is florescent, and they may be a couple weeks apart as far as age. She was 4 months in these pictures, and she is 7 months now. The last is a current photo to show her coat. |
Yes, the light you are using makes a difference and this is something that just shows up if a flash is used, and it can vary in intensity with different cameras. But generally speaking, blue or green shine means silky, and red and golds mean cotton. Cotton coats tend to grow faster and mat more, but puppies often mat, and you can't always tell if the coat is silk until about 6 months or so, an experienced breeder probably can.
