No one here is blind to the fact that this is a very difficult situation for her and I believe that she has everyone's sympathy for that. But the bottom line is, the dog needs help and rather than choosing to surrender the dog so she can get the help she needs, she has elected to allow her to continue suffering so that she can keep her. No amount of foot stomping and lecturing is going to change that. And there is NO justification for it. Again, if the well being of this dog is not what you see as the most important issue, then you are on the wrong forum.
What's the outcome, you ask? Yet another diversion from the real issue--the health of a dog--for the sake of lecturing people on how to be nice.
