I live in North Florida (Tallahassee). My vet has pushed me to get the Lepto vaccine if camping. We trailer camp with ours and haven't been getting the Lepto vaccine because of reputation that vaccine has with little dogs. I would definitely put Hobo in something covered if you aren't going to be right there with him. I fear about hawks and owls even at my house in town. Fleas and ticks are out here, so keep an eye out for that for sure. Have fun camping!!
