Jessica is 5.5. Personally, I do like yorkies appx. 4-5 pounds, but this weight the most hard to find.
Btw, it is not true that yorkie standard 4-7 pounds. it is UP to 7. However, show breeders prefers dogs appx. 4-5 pounds (breeding female is 5-6, but not 7)
unfortunately, most (but not all)of yorkies appx 3 pounds and even less look like midgets. Personally I haven't seen any of them in this size with good body proportion.
also, I am very against breeding yorkies who are over standard or too small.
There is STANDARD and good breeder should follow it. |
