My first thought is that it's most likely the pollen and dust the dogs pick up from their walks. I'm basing this on it being a new set of symptoms and that you've probably had your dogs since prior to the onset.
You've gotten good advice on washing everything, having the dogs sleeping somewhere else for a few days, etc. You might also want to change out your air filter in your heating/ac system and even get the air ducts cleaned.
I have horrible allergies to dust and pollen. I purchased an air filter from Oreck for my bedroom and it made a huge difference for me.
