DH and I were flying out @ 0630 and I only had hours to figure out what to do with him. I couldn't bring myself to just drop him off at a boarding place that I knew nothing about or have him kenneled at the vets.
I ended up leaving him with the same friends we were going to leave the kids with. They have 12 or 13 yr old pitbull and a 2 yr old pomeranian (sp?), he's been to their house before and was terrified of the pom...LOL
I sent him with his travel crate bc he likes to sleep in crates when not at home. While i was gone I found out that he snapped @ the husband a few times. Kobe has never snapped at anyone... he mouths when you play with him but a quick no and he stops. We came home that same sunday I couldn't bare to be away from him any longer, come to find out when he was at their house he spent most of the time in his crate.
I was livid and promised myself & him that I would never leave him with anyone other then DH, boarding after much research or someone with a yorkie that cares as much as I do about my baby!
SORRY SO LONG !!! |
That would of upset me too! That is why I dread leaving them with anyone. I will probably end up driving and getting a snoozer car seat and bringing them both. My only concern is how Pixie will do with my daughters Yorkie. Pixie is a lil fiesty and daisy tolerates it but I know Gidget will NOT!! We are staying in a hotel but we will be spending most of the time with my daughter at her house. This could be headache if the dogs don't get along.
