Beatrice broke her leg when she jumped off the couch,about a year and a half ago,just a couple of weeks before her 1st birthday. We are so careful now with both of them.She had to wear a collar when we left her alone so she wouldn't take the bandage off. She is perfectly fine now....we have a wonderful orthopedic surgeon.
The closures are like 2 straps that fir through 2 D-rings and then snap on to themselves.
By the way, I took a chance and left the collar on for 6 hours, while I was at work. I was a bit nervous about it ,but when I got home it was still on,and no wraps were touched ........yippee !!! I am so happy,now he will keep his wraps in from week to week.I used to just keep him wrapped on the days that I was home,but even when we'd go out for an hour or two he'd take about half of them out.Beatrice leaves her's in and never bothers with them.
