We live in Phoenix also! Our Pediatrician (Vet) did check her thyroid, also did the glucose and yes we have had the ACTHstim test done several times already....no she wasn't treated before I got her. (the lady said it was a waste as far as she was concerned) It is a little spendy, but, oh well, I can't just let her languish with this. Thank you so much, I know we can pull her through this! We have also had some x-rays done, her hind legs are totally stiff with arthritis, she's not sure if she originally had an injury on one of them. We can put her on a pain med but have to get the mitotane somewhat regulated first. Poor little girl, she is so tiny! I can't imagine letting a little 3lb yorkie get in this condition, well, I can't imagine letting any dog get in this condition to be honest. I'm glad I have her.... |
