I don't speak yorkie but I think that dogs really want to do a good job and please us and when they think it's their job to do something, they try to do it very well. I don't think she is training you, I think that somehow she got the idea that it really pleases you when she does this. Like maybe the first time she wasn't all that hungry but you did this and made such a big deal out of it that now she thinks that she needs to do it as it's her "job". I would maybe try mixing that particular food in with something really appealing to her and just leave it and see what she does. That is, unless you really like this particular behavior.... |
