I am in no way a breeder but I COMPLETELY and 100% agree with what the pros are saying above. They know what they are talking about and have the best interests of your baby at heart in their advice! Your baby is too young and too small to have a litter and especially since your male is so big. The chances of you losing her are iffy but based on what they said above the chances of a c-section are very high. Also from what I have read good breeders spend a lot of money once a litter is born and sometimes break even or very little money is made and a lot of round the clock work is done. I can tell you as someone who just went through a c-section with my baby it was a nightmare and cost me about $1600 when all was said and done. I lucked out but wish I had found YT before I went through what I had to go through and would have gotten sound advice from pros like you are getting here! Breeding is not something to do one time to just try it out! It's for experienced people who have gotten training way before a litter is ever conceived and plan and have been highly educated for every single stage all the way through each puppy finding a home! I think if you are smart (and it sounds like you are) you will listen to the advice the pros have given you, not risk the life of your sweet pea and just enjoy your baby! I wish you all the luck in the world! I know its a hard decision but I think you already know what is best to do! Have a great day!
