Thanks for all the kind thoughts.
Pearl had her vet check up last Wednesday. The vet said her recovery was remarkable. I'm sure her wagging tail, bright eys and alert ears helped in that perspective. But even so no heart murmur from the infection and she's put on about a quarter pound and is eating very good with her 6 teeth. Her stiches are out and she's current on her imunizations etc. I will figure out how to post post pictures next week, after a trip to the salon.
