I have the same problem with Julie, her breath smells like pure fish, it's nasty, I just brush her teeth 2x's a day so I won't have to smell it. She is on mighty dog wet food and royal canin dry food, but she prefers the wet I can't take it away because my girl is only 3 lbs and too tiny to allow to go without eating.
Have you tried the daily brushing, I know it's a pain in the rear to do, but it works.
