As you may recall, our 8 year old Buster died of pancreatic cancer on March 17. Since we've had a Yorkie in the household for over 30 years we could not deal with the void left by his death for very long.
We located a reputable breeder only 50 miles away and placed a deposit on "Bailey" who'll be 12 weeks old on May 2, when we'll be able to bring her home. On our second visit to the breeder to check on Bailey's progress the breeder mentioned a 3 lb. approximate 2 year old female that she'd taken back from the original owner after the placement did not work out due to a divorce. Long story short, we brought Buttons home last Sunday and we've all been getting used to each other for the last week.
In the past, all our Yorkies have been paper trained. However, Buttons is totally housebroken and we have not been able to get her to go on paper we have on our enclosed patio. Does anyone have any advice as to how you've been able to get your Yorkie to switch back to paper after he or she was trained to go outside? Any help is appreciated!!!!
