I really like the idea to speak to this woman's vet for more information. My other suggestion would be to search YT for others that have had similar surgeries for their pups to get a handle on what it will take financially and medically to treat. If you decide not to take her you might suggest a rescue in SoCal that would be able to help her if the owner would be willing to surrender her. There is a huge over population of Yorkies in the SoCal area and not enough foster homes available. I would hate to see her fall through the crack in a shelter.  There are several members on YT that are involved with YTNR that would be able to guide you in the proper directions if a rescue was needed.  |
no, i wasn't paying for her, she is a rehome. i haven't yet asked her, but i don't think she'll give her away if i don't take her ... i do plan to find out though.... good idea about the research, i checked and most of the info i found was on LP....
she's actually not in california, she's in maryland. that's why she offered to reimburse me for the plane ticket i purchased.
