Her owner was honest by telling me this and she revealed that her breeder had not been completely honest with her when she purchased her … she was also kind enough to offer to refund the cost of my plane ticket if I decided not to take her….

I know that yorkies can be prone to some health problems, especially the smaller ones … I just don’t know what to do with this information!!! I'm so disappointed, but I had already started to think of her as my furbaby!!! Also, I have a health issue myself that may require surgery, so I feel terrible with the idea of rejecting a furbaby because of a health issue … oh, I'm so confused!!!

I don’t want to just think with my heart here, I want to use my head, but I'm having some trouble flipping that brain switch right now … PLEASE HELP!!!

Any opinions would be appreciated….
What would you have done if you had found this AFTER you had her home? None of us have any guarantees of having a perfectly healthy dog when we bring them home, but I don't think many of us would give them up because of it.

Of course, only you know your financial situation and whether or not you can take this on. No one is going to blame you if you can't. And there are more than a few yorkies out there that need to be rescued.

It's a hard decision. I hope you can find your answer.
