2 of my grandkids come over ALL the time!! 4 and 7 years old. Mr.Darcy is fine with them - when he hears them come in he runs to the door and jumps up on them and is very excited. Then after they have been here a little while, he disappears under our bed! Lizzie - 4 months old (who has been with us one whole week tomorrow!) barks as soon as they come in, wants me to pick her up, and hides behind me when they are trying to pet her. I figured it was because she was raised in a home, with a lady, and not around kids, but after reading here, maybe it is just "a yorkie"!! and while we are on the subject of who yorkies like and dislike - she seems to be leary of my husband - she backs off when he tries to pet her but will lie beside him on the couch. Does anyone think this is because of not being used to kids and men from birth to 4 months old? Should I make her sit on the grandkids laps, and hope she gets to like kids better?
