What's surprising to me is just how much dirt comes up in a simple search. I googled 'AKC and puppy mills' and 'AKC fraud' and tons of stuff comes up.
I found one thing where an AKC official was saying that top breeders should work with 'volume breeders' to improve the volume breeders stock. The rationale seemed to be that they (volume breeders) were able to get import dogs to breed so why not have American breeders get in on it. |
