Breed standard is 5-7lbs... however, you never know what you are going to get. A big yorkie puppy may turn out to be teeny tiny. Alot of puppies do not follow the growth chart. My puppy was the largest of the bunch and at 6 months is weighing 2lbs, 12 oz... her teeny tiny brother is already 4lbs... Going with a reputable breeder will alleviate you worrying about getting a healthy dog as size has nothing to do with that. A reputable breeder will know for sure that their breeding dogs do not carry genetic diseases. Have you researched breeders in your area? If you have I would start interviewing them and seeing if any of them sound like someone you would like to begin a relationship with. Chloe's breeder and I talk almost weekly.
