My vet knows it's not a core vaccine. So I don't think I need to correct her.
She just considers it to be a very important one (like a core) and highly recommends it especially if you are going to have your dogs groomed or kenneled.
I guess my post above makes it seem like she said it was a core, which she didn't at all.

I'm curious as to why I hear others say though don't get it unless your REALLY need it! What are the side effects? Do some consider it to be dangerous? I'm not one that believes in over vaccinating at all, but I would take my vet's advice any day of the week!
