as you can see from plenty of people's posts - lots of dogs continue to do the deed even after being spayed/neutered. obviously (i thought) i was joking when comparing humans to dogs EXACTLY- although the concept is the same - which is the point i was attempting to make. in other words, regardless of what you tie, cut, or castrate - desires remain. you can castrate a pedophile, but that doesn't mean he won't continue to have desires.

i said "why would dogs be different as far as desire to do it?" DESIRE being a big word.

and, i think it's anatomy - not biology - if we are getting that serious.

before you jump the gun - i like you, but i think you would have to agree your comment was insulting and i am simply responding. let's keep it civil, please.
Where on earth did I insult you or call you uneducated? Just because I said I was in awe of your lack of understanding of basic biology? It is the truth or you wouldn't of come up with that silly comment.

I did not intend to "insult" you, and great about your education..I happen to have one as well but thats for another thread.

I actually like you, I have told you that before. But you take things to personally and often in a way no intended.

Desire does not remain after castration, why else would they do it to sex offenders then? And yes there has been several who have opted to have it done as condition of parole. A sex offender, wont be able to get it up and he will not have the sex drive, no hormones... Does it mean they wont think about wanting to do something, nope it wont.. but it will keep him from doing it.

And it does work, my sister in law works for dept. of corrections and says it does stop the behaviors.

Also, sex crimes are not about sex anyhow...
