I decided to give it a 2nd chance before I returned it today and it was a 2 man job. One to hold my dog, while I filed his nails. So not worth it and it was almost impossible to get those extra thumblike nails on his front paws. However, I also bought this hair trimming device for people that is safe to touch while on, has an adjustable head that I use to trim the hair around his eyes n muzzle, but it's just ok. But I think for $9.99 it's worth it, especially for getting that access hair inbetween their paws It's called Finishing Touch and if you get it from Target you can return w/in 90 days even after you've tried it and opened the plastic packaging
