I too would like to see the whole movie. While I don't live in Louisiana Katrina did flatten my little town in Mississippi.
The only reason I was glad we had stayed for Katrina was we would have left our animals. We had 8ft of water in our house so I know they would have never made it if we had left them alone. So when the waters rose we took the rat and bird to the attic with us and waited it out. Frisco our sun conure has been in my family since I was about 14 or 15 and it would have broken my heart to learn that not only was my house was destroyed but she and my rat were gone as well had we left. Our house can be and was rebuilt but not our pets. My rat I had at that time passed away about a year after the storm but I still have Frisco and now my yorkie Sakura and if we ever have something like that again both will be in the car with me along with my little sister's dog when we leave because that is something I NEVER want to have to do again.
