But I will say for my personal experience I do make stops to places that I pull up to the window and go in and pick something up...coffee, pastries

bottled water...convenience stops while I'm out and about. They are NEVER more than a few mintues and I can see her. I am fortunate to have the vehicle that I have because even for these quick stops I am more paranoid about leaving a window down and someone reaching in my car and stealing her. The places I frequent are in nice neighborhoods but even with that one can never be too sure.
