All of the above, plus I wanted something small this time - something I could wash in the kitchen sink (because bending over the tub is too hard anymore), and the smaller size also means less food, less (ahem!) "cleanup", less expense on monthly meds, and treats go a lot further!
Yorkies are nothing short of PERFECT.
One other thing: My husband was subject to seizures before he passed; Bella could smell the change in his blood chemistry or whatever and she'd start to bark and nip him before he seized. It gave him enough time to take extra meds. Then she went back to just giving him kisses. |
