Hi Dolce - I read you post and it rang a bell with me. My Lexi did the same thing when we first brought her home. I spoke with a few friends that are well seasoned dog owners, they suggested that I should try confining her 'roaming' area to a smaller space. I did just that. I penned off the kitchen area and that is the only area she was allowed to roam in freely when out of her crate. I put the pad in plain site, took her to it every time I took her out of the crate and it worked. Not overnight but within one week at least. Apparently by my letting her have free reign of the house she thought she could do whatever she wanted. She has had a couple of boo-boos since then but only if the pad was moved or she felt it wasn't clean enough for her. Good luck to you and your baby - it will all work out.
