Welcome to YT! You've taken on quite a challenge, but it sounds like you are doing a great job. What her proper weight should be depends on her body structure/overall size. You & the vet will know when she has achieved that goal. 6.5-7 lbs is good for many, but some require more. Roxy is 8 lbs & not at all overweight. Some are larger. How nice your vet is helping you out so well. : ) Good luck!
