All I can say is that I think you need to be around a bit longer before judging the motives of the people on YT.

When I first joined YT I had some very strong opinions myself and in time learned that what I originally thought was actually not correct in many cases. I was jumped on in the beginning and when I sat back and really thought about it, the people had misread and misinterpreted what I had said. What did I do? I sat back and started reading more. Kind of like the saying "Take the cotton out of your ears and put it in your mouth.", I opted to be silent and learn and get a lay of the land so to speak.

Just as in real life, you have to be careful about making snap judgements about people whether they be positive or negative. I think it actually is more difficult online since there is no tone to writings. Many times people interpret things the way they feel, not the way they really are.
