I wrote a thread earlier, and I was hoping things were getting better, but they are not! I have read every book on housetraining a dog, so many of them say use the crate method, which worked like a miracle with our other yorkie. She was houstrained in 2 weeks, and would NEVER poop in there. Our new puppy seems to love peeing and pooping on herself. We got her from what I thought was a great breeder, but she must have left the puppies in a small little area where they ate, slept, and went potty. It does not matter if she thinks the crate is cozy with her bed she still pees and poops in it, then gets it all over her. I have to give her a bath every single day. I tried confining her to the bathroom with a puppy pad and she will pee on that and then poop on the floor and run all in it and get it all over herself. She has peed on my blanket, pooped on my daughter's pillow. We watch her constantly, take constant trips outside to go potty, give her treats when she goes. She simply does not get it!! I feel absolutely helpless!! What do I do, is she ever going to get it?
