A 16oz bag was $26 and only lasts 6 days, but our Acana kibble is around $15 and lasts us a month! That's the only problem I've run into with the raw.  If I had a smaller dog, I'd probably look into it more.

We typically feed kibble in the morning (really out of convenience) and then raw in the evening. I like to rotate between Primal Raw and Stella & Chewy's. My girls do just fine with this combo.
I have bigger girls too at 9 and 11-12 lbs. It has been my experience with every dog I have had and nearly every food that I typically feed less than what is recommended on the bag. My girls do get lots of extras too so I suppose that may have something to do with it.
