anyway I'm sorry I came off like that but when it comes to hair care products, I get really excited. I didn't mean it in a mean way! but in the "please don't buy s**t for yourself" way. I just want the best for you guys and your hair-- and sorry that you guys find the CHI some amazing product, when I have seen hands down how s**t quality it is. If you want to use coated plates for your hair- go right ahead. no one's stopping you, but it's not the best for your hair! and maybe you wouldn't need to spend all this money on keratin treatments at the salon (wtf $150? I've seen the same treatment sold at salons for $40! and high end salons...but ANYWAY) you right ahead! but if you had the right product (straightener, hair care line, etc) , you probably wouldn't have the problems that you do. trust me.
not centering you out- that goes for all of you. |
I didn't think you were singling me out...but I took what you said personally. I also was speaking for all of us that have a CHI....clearly you are passionate about your field of expertise but I'm just sharing my experience with the CHI. That's all...no need to get over excited about the matter. Its just a flat iron
I've spent hundreds of dollars on my hair treatments in the past. It doesn't matter how great an iron I use, I live in Florida where most of our days are filled with humidity and even the most expensive iron won't help. Speaking from experience sister...only chemicals can help hair like mine. So really, the bottom line is that just because an iron costs $400, it doesn't mean it can work miracles.
That's all I think I have to share on the matter...G'nite
