 Puppy has Giardia...
Got results back from the lab that Yuna has giardia. She's on medication - ones a white powder another med is a blue tablet... receptionist told me that it's transferable to humans and I am kind of freaking out. She did eliminate in a lot of places in the house and I clean her bum everytime so I am kind of worried about getting it. Yuna will be okay, I hope. They said it was fairly common with puppies and that she probably got it from her mother. I got yogurt for her to mix the powder in, but she seems to be a bit more crazy and aggressive. She's growling excessively and biting and panting a lot. Her temperment is just getting worst. This prob has nothing to do with her giardia, but still! Wish someone told me that I should check the stool of a new puppy so I could have dealt with it early on. |
