If you need a service dog you probably wouldn't be considered lazy you would most likely be handicapped. Like BLIND etc...and worse, blind with allergies! You would also probably be on public assistance and of course who is going to pay the groomer.
There are alternatives though. I have actually seen a service PONY. I wouldn't want to shovel out the house though.
