Very nicely stated. I was trying to figure out a way to put this into words, but you've done it perfectly.
The point, was missed, which seems to be pretty typical when this topic comes up. The point was discouraging supporting unethical breeders, not degrading mutts.

But I'm thinking that honestly, this was just one more oportunity for people to stir up controversy.
