I got Chloe And her brother Bear at 8wks from her horrible breeder.. Even though I had not joined Yorkie talk yet, I did know it was recommended that the puppy be 12wks vs 8wks when I take her home. I even asked her breeder to keep her for the extra 4wks due to this info I read, But she assured me that was nonsense, And that she had a life and couldn't put anymore time into watching the puppies. Although I didn't see the red flags at the time And trusted my breeder, I do now thanks to all the wealth of info found on this site, As well as the many articles readily available online about training, and health.

But my real point is this.. Chloe fustrated me. Chloe was real bad with potty issues,And even made me cry a few times due to her horrible behavior, as I felt I was getting no where... But Instead of throwing her in my garage, I did research and joined yorkie talk. Instead of ignoring her I worked even harder to establish a bond.. So IMO being a new dog owner has nothing to do with these peoples behavior, Stupid ignorant people are just that, And have no business getting an animal, And if it were me I would report them.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. That "breeder" sounds mean!!!!! I'm glad you stuck with it, I bet it paid off in the end.
