I have excellent breeding practices. And I never hid anything. So there is no "truth" to come to light. But I do not, nor will I ever mix a yorkie. I spent way to much money on champion bred yorkies. And I only breed cockapoos because we are working on making them a breed. I have been over this before with a couple of other members who respect my for being open and honest and for my reasons for breeding cockapoos.
As I have said before, I am the founder of the American cockapoo club which I started several years ago for keeping track of the lineage of our dogs.
We are up 4+ generations, and we have a couple of breeders who are up to 10th generations of cockapoos.
We also have a new name for them that will go into effect within the next year and become part of the rare breeds organization. It takes a long time to get a dog recognized and I wont let you put me down for it. They are even on the OFA list of recognized "breeds".. go look..that took some time to get the cockapoo on there as well.
You wont find a yorkie poo, or other hybrids or designer breeds on their list. There are some of us out here that love the cockapoo breed and don't do it to make money. I certainly don't make any money, just ask my husband.
The cockapoo is not a hybrid or a designer dog and have been around for a very long time. Unfortunately there are some people out there breeding them for money and only breeding cocker and poodle "hybrids", just like some breeders of purebreds do it for the money by mass producing. I breed 2-3 litters a year.
And the good ones do all the appropriate testing on their dogs, including me

and I am proud of my breeding program.
So, you can think anything you like, I cannot change closed minds and I don't want to. But I will defend myself when being judged by someone who doesn't even know me.
Have a wonderful day.
