That's a great idea about getting samples! That's what we did when Wrigley was a puppy and we would mix a few pieces in with the food she was on to see what she liked and would eat.
We have changed food though several times. They would get bored, stop eating it and we would have to try something else.
We have had the most success with the Nature's Variety that we use now. We love they have different formulas that we rotate, they don't get sick of it that way!
